But for now only the ocean floor and a great
expanse of water between can render for us
the vision of a world immersed in moving fluid,
as we move within ourself.
To break time by sequence is an art
wholly of those whose hearts are driven
by a steady, rhythmic beat.
For those who simply burn,
the fire is enough.

An abstract photo from high over the Cascades with just Adams and Rainier poking their little heads out of the snow, seen over the wing of a Yakima to Seattle computer plane. Kristin snapped this view with her iPhone and it has a haunting angle, much like those satellite images through the blue. Kinda hard to pick out the climbers today, but on those slopes someone is testing the waters of memory, yet imprinted. Chances are they are munching a bag of M&Ms and wondering where in the heck that airplane is headed.
