Fifth Day Of Virgo /38
This once as mine
calls together in line,
Tells from being quickly
closed all snow,
Saw and growing green the
answer chose to know.
Quietly then to see
what's known of hills under
grass or pushed above
clouds too soon before night
by being told in
a winter's tale from
under the open window flow
cold centuries grow.
On the fifth day of Virgo
Longer than who owns who,
all held and know:
likeness in likeness,
then whispers,
"time to go".
38.
This is the view that Jack Kerouac had every morning while stationed on Desolation Lookout, on the north bank of Ross Lake; Hozamen Mountain, the "Old Man" who watches, the solid Zen open door to the North through which Jack departed on his way to Mexico! Hope you like the photo.
