Time To Find Sally /28
An old myth
describes the beginning
becoming the end: There, Janus,
whose job it is to rule those
extremes, sees her own reflection
in a pool of thought and
traces with pointed finger
the lines of a wisdom both
old and new.
Now, in the next arcana
the lines she marked
on my bare flesh
are an alphabet
and the science through which
we ply the mails.
Getting back to Sally in a letter
that hasn't yet been written,
and will be read by
her long after the story ends.
